What happens, how often. Same rhythm whether you're in Waterloo or remote, with the obvious caveat that some things only work in person.
Weekly (starting May)
- Monday — What's Shipping thread. Post what you're working on this week. Short. Honest. Builds the habit and surfaces the help you didn't know to ask for.
- Wednesday at noon — Technical / Non-Technical Wednesdays. Alternating weekly, member-led, topic set in advance. Half the room is technical, half isn't, and that's the point.
- Friday — #wins. Close the week on signal. What shipped, what landed, what moved.
Monthly (starting this summer)
- Demo Night. Members ship and show. In-person at the space. The renewal moment for what gets built around here.
- Builder Circles. Six to eight people, themed by stage or domain. Real problems and real peers. Placement is curated.
- Trial Wednesday. One Wednesday per month is open to prospective members. Come work from the space and see what's here.
Quarterly (starting in Q3)
- City dinners. Toronto, SF, NY. Member-hosted, member-attended. The diaspora stays connected.
- State of Waterloo. One long-form piece on the talent engine. Public.
Annually (this September)
- Tech Week weekend. Members-only track. The renewal moment. The diaspora comes home.
