Before you start
- Rooms go in blocks, not hours. Morning 8am–12pm, Afternoon 12–5pm, Evening 5–11pm. You can take two blocks next to each other (Morning + Afternoon, or Afternoon + Evening) or all three as a Full day. Morning + Evening without the afternoon isn't an option.
- Every request is reviewed by a person. Asking doesn't confirm the room. You'll get an email either way, usually within 2 business days.
- You can ask up to six months out.
1. Paste your event link (optional)
Got a Luma (or wygo) page already? Paste it in the first box, or hit Read it. The form fills in the title, the day, the blocks your event needs, and a first paragraph about it. Check it and fix anything that's off.
No page yet? Skip it. Most people ask for the room before the event page exists. You can add the link later from My bookings.
If your event runs past 11pm, the form will flag it. Say so in the description.
2. Pick the day, room and block
- Tap a day from the row of dates (the next two weeks), or use the date field to go further out.
- For that day you'll see each room (kitchen, basement, rooftop) with its Morning, Afternoon and Evening blocks.
- Each block says Open, Asked for (someone has a request in, you can still ask) or Taken (it's on the building calendar, you can't pick it).
- Tap an open block. Tap the one next to it to make it longer. Tapping in another room starts over there.
- Not sure which room? Use Any room — help me pick. It shows a block as open if any room is free, and Jesse picks the room.
Hackathon? Tick It's a hackathon and pick the first and last day, up to four in a row. Hackathons take the whole building, Full day each day, and always get a conversation with Jesse before they're approved. Read the Hackathon Guide first.
3. Tell us about it
- What is it? A short title. "Hack night", "Demo evening", "Pitch workshop".
- How many people? Your honest guess. Basement holds 120, rooftop 200.
