Remote isn't a tier. It's how Professional works if you're not in Waterloo. Same membership, same price, same access to almost everything.

What you get

What you skip

Demo Night and 24/7 access to the clubhouse are the only in-person-only things. Demos are recorded.

Why this isn't a consolation tier

The network is anchored in Waterloo, but it runs through SF, NY, London, and Toronto. Many members have worked at companies in those cities. They've been through YC. They've had exits. They speak the language of the places that matter and they have second-degree connections into them.

A connection through Builders Club from any of those cities is rarely a cold one.

How to make it work from afar

Show up to Wednesdays. Post in #wins on Friday. Take Hive 1-on-1s seriously. Travel for Tech Week or a city dinner once a year if you can.

That's enough to be a real member, not a name in the directory.
